Daily Schedule and Elective Information!

Before 8:00 am children are to be dropped off in the Cafeteria.  Breakfast is available and the cost of it is covered by your tuition until 7:50 am.

At 8:00 am children are brought to classrooms by the teachers.  Please be courteous of this rule.  We have morning prep time before 8 am and need children and parents out of the classrooms until then. Thank You, Thank You!

8:00-8:30         Free in-class time/Turn in Homework
8:30-9:00       School begins! Morning announcements and Calendar Time
9:00-10:00     Math
10:00-10:30    Recess/Outside snack time
10:30-11:00    Spelling
11:00-11:30   Journal and Reading Contract Time
11:30-12:00   Writing/Reading Activities
12:00-12:30   Class Novel-Teacher Reading Time
12:30-1:00     Lunch
1:00-1:45       Phonics/Language Arts
1:45-2:00        Change for and travel to electives
2:00-3:00       Electives! (Individual Schedule is posted in classroom)
3:00-3:50      Science/Social Studies
3:50-4:00       Classroom Closure and Line-up time
4:00pm            School Ends! (Please do not enter the classroom until 4:00, as we continue instruction until then! Thank You!)

On Friday, we go to the Jackie's Store at 3:45!

Tuesday:  Sign Language 9:45-10:30 
Wednesday:  Library 9:30-10:00  
Thursday:  Computer 11:15-12:00 
Friday:  Spanish 10:00-10:30 

Extended Care:
4:00-4:15pm:   Children are taken to Cafeteria for afternoon snack
4:15-4:45 pm:  Homework Time
4:45-5:00 pm:  Playground
5:00-6:00 pm:  In Class (homework, free play, etc.)

Elective Information
Please make sure that your child has all elective clothing they need for each day's activities.  It may be easiest to pack everything they will need for the week and send it on Monday.  Make sure that all items are labeled!  There are lots of black leotards and white tee's out there and we want to make sure you keep yours! :)

If your child does not have their elective clothing they are not allowed to attend their scheduled class.  They will recieve a demerit and miss out on fun instruction and activities.  Help them have a fun week by making sure they are ready for it all!
