Homework!

Make sure to READ THE HOMEWORK BOARD EACH AFTERNOON!!
Please remember to take their Trapper home with you as well! 

Inside the trapper you will find everything you need for the evening in the Homework & Reading sections!  Complete the Spelling worksheet, Math worksheet, Phonics worksheet and Reader.  After your child has spent at least 20 min. reading to you, please initial the Reading Contract.  Your child will receive a sticker for each night's reading.  A completed log page equals a trip to the Prize Box! 

All homework is to be turned in each morning in the Turn in Spot! 10 points will be deducted for each late assignment.  Late or missing homeword can result in loss of The Principal's Award and/or The Citizenship Award.

Monday:
Spelling - Review Spelling Words (found on classroom Newsletter), Math, Phonics, Reading

Tuesday:
Spelling - 3 Times Each, Math, Phonics, Reading

Wednesday:
Spelling - ABC Order (we will not focus on "second, third, fourth etc.. letter alphabetizing until second semester) , Math, Phonics, Reading

Thursday:
Spelling - Sentences (6 or more words in each sentence, different sentence starters, capitals, punctuation, correctly spelled weekly spelling words and any other words we have covered up to that point), Math, Phonics, Reading

Friday:
No MAJOR Homework! Do review your Spelling Words for Monday's Test! Enjoy your weekend!
